The Spring at Skangum

Welcome back to my blog. If you enjoyed the first post, please keep tuning in for more updates about Good Ole Skangum.

This week in the news we have some rather quite interesting information to be passed on to all of my glorious viewers. The weather outside is finally starting to look more like the fruitful and lively spring, and less like the cold and dimming winter. I am going to talk about what is going on around the campus and what is happening in the spring of Good Ole Skangum.

To start the weather outside is absolutely beautiful. It is nice and warm out, and it is fairly windy too so you don’t burn up too badly from the heat. But me being from the Sunshine state itself, Florida, it is still rather cold compared to spring there, but none the less it is still beautiful outside. And with this glorious weather comes the sports that have been waiting for this time of year. And these sports are Baseball, Softball, Track and Field, Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s Tennis, Women’s Tennis, Golf, and spring Football if you want to count it.

Out of the 27 games played, baseball is 15-12 which isn’t a bad start but there is a lot of room to grow. Softball isn’t doing so well with a record of 13-19, but there are still a lot of games to play to turn around the season. The Track and Field teams are doing alright but there are a few meets left to show what the muskies are made of. Men’s Lacrosse is 2-9 with only three games left to play.  Women’s Lacrosse is 4-10 with only three games left as well. The Men’s Tennis team ended their season 0-13, but hey there is always next year right. Women’s Tennis team is 1-9, with three matches left. Also their senior night is tomorrow 4/19/16 so come out and support your fellow muskies to bring home that W. For the Golf team’s they haven’t had much luck but the OAC championships are coming up, so I hope that they are able to shine and show the world what the muskies are made of. And finally spring Football. It has been a long and enduring four weeks but spring Football is coming to a close, with only a few things left to do. The school year is coming to a close and I am hoping that all of the muskies have good luck in these final weeks.
